Interests of Garth

Growing up, Garth’s summers were spent at the family cabin in David’s Cove on Mayne Island.  The hours spent moving logs and then rowing boats around the bay are incalculable.

He belong to the Boy Scouts starting as a Beaver until receiving his Chief Scout Award.  The hiking and camping trips were his favourite experiences.

Local League soccer was Garth’s sport and defense was his position.

Later in life swimming and surf boarding at St. Mary’s Lake was also enjoyed as was sitting at the camp fire reminiscing and sharing stories of his fun adventures and favourite memories.
